Stay Tuned for 2018 dates!

The results of our 2017 race on June 24th can be found here. If you missed the event or the chance to donate to a racer or team, you can still do so by clicking here. Thank you for your support! You raised over $16,000 this year!

We are excited to be hosting our third annual Frontier Triathlon this spring. Come and be a part of this year's fundraiser event here at Frontier Lodge!

Our goal is to raise $30,000 in order to build a home for our Explore Directors. Since we are the hosts of an awesome Outdoor Leadership Program (Explore) for 4 months of the year, we want to make sure their leaders have a cozy home.

Back in 2015, this Triathlon fundraiser helped us raise money toward building three duplex cabins for the students and they are beautiful! We know it is possible to reach this goal with your help and we look forward to seeing you at the race. Thank you for your support!

New This Year: You can choose between an Off-Road Triathlon or Duathlon

Triathlon: Swim + Bike + Run

It's an off-road triathlon! Swim 500m in the lake, then bike 13.2km of sweet mountain bike trail (intermediate), and finish off with a 4.5km trail run around the lake (see map and elevation profiles below).

Duathlon: Run + Bike + Run

It's an off-road duathlon! Run 4.5km on the trail, mountain bike 13.2km, and finish off with another 4.5km trail run (see map and elevation profiles below).

Who Can Race: Everyone that's 16 and up! (if under 16 and would like to participate, please contact us directly) The course is designed to be accessible to first timers, yet still a challenge to the more advanced racers who want to push it. If you're not up to the full challenge, then form a team of two or three!

Cost: The cost of the event is $150 per participant, whether racing alone or as part of a team. As this is a fundraising event, $100 of this cost is a donation eligible for a tax receipt, along with a $50 race fee which includes a free Nalgene water bottle, a post-race meal, and a rocking good time.

At the time of registration you will be presented with two options for covering the above costs:

1 - Pay the full $150, and get training. Fast, easy and simple.

2 - Choose to participate in bringing in donations for the project listed above. In this case, you will be charged a $50 race fee at registration, and provided with a link and information to facilitate your fundraising efforts through Canada Helps. There will be an expectation that a minimum of $100 is raised, but we encourage you to set your goals higher!
