Frontier Lodge is a year 'round Christian Wilderness Adventure Camp located on a beautiful lake in the Rockies near Nordegg, Alberta. Surrounded by woods and wildlife, the camp has a truly wilderness atmosphere that is both relaxing and inspiring.
A wide variety of outdoor programs are offered, including mountain biking, rock climbing, whitewater canoeing, hiking, caving, rappelling and backpacking. In the winter you can enjoy exciting adventures like ice climbing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, orienteering, outdoor ed. and survival training.
Summer camps are offered for 11 year olds through adults, and include wilderness camps, mountain bike camps, fly fishing and photography camps. There is also a 3-week long leadership training program called S.A.L.T. for those of high school age. An Adult Heli-backpacking trip and Frontier’s popular “Fat Tire” mountain bike festival are held each summer as well.
The Ascend program is a three month adventure Bible school for young adults incorporating solid Bible teaching, leadership training, outdoor education and skills training and other opportunities to grow in faith and have fun in the mountains.
The unique Marriage Adventure Program (MAP) is designed to combine solid marriage counseling and adventure to help build stronger marriages, while our Men’s and Women’s Retreats provide the opportunity to get away from the usual rush of daily life to relax and grow in a place you won’t soon forget.
