This weekend course will introduce you to the exhilarating sport of ice climbing. Come and learn on our 15m ice wall, then use your new skills to conquer a frozen waterfall. Topics will include the history of ice climbing, ice axes, crampons, climbing ropes, and basic climbing skills.
No previous experience necessary. Knowledgeable staff will have you climbing vertical ice in no time with a lot of personalized coaching.
All of this will take place in a safe and encouraging atmosphere of fun and friendship, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Canadian Rockies. The course is limited to twelve participants, ages 15 and up.
