Are you looking for adventure? Do you want to be challenged? Are you ready to encounter God? Here at Frontier Lodge we desire to serve you so that your goals for your time at camp might be realized. In the warm-weather months we offer many different adventures such as mountain biking, rock climbing, whitewater canoeing, hiking, caving, backpacking, rappelling and tyrolean traverse. Winter
Don't let the winter blues keep you cooped up in your house all season long! Come and enjoy our winter adventures including ice climbing, hiking, camping, quinzee building (snow shelter), orienteering and survival skills. Afterwards, you can enjoy a warm drink by the cozy fire in the lodge or a crackling bonfire outside under the brilliant stars. Frontier is dedicated to giving you the best programming possible. Just let us know what you want and we'll tailor-make a winter retreat you'll never forget!
Evening Program
We can also offer an evening fireside program for your group. Worship, skits and a devotional message can be arranged upon request. Please ensure that you give us at least two weeks notice.
Safety
Keeping our campers, guests and staff safe is a priority at Frontier Lodge. We have been an accredited member of the Alberta Camping Association (ACA) for the last 20 years, and our staff are trained to meet or exceed ACA's high safety standards. All staff are required to have standard first aid and CPR training, and some have advanced wilderness first aid certification as well. Except for the annual Fat Tire Festival, the minimum age for participants is 11 years old.
